One of my first ever credits as a producer. I came up with the idea behind this series, Clothes Minded, for VIBE Magazine, and the premise behind it.
Clothes Minded is a segment where we have acclaimed and established talent tell stories about some of their most beautiful, egregious, stunning, and or eclectic looks on the red carpet and beyond. It would be about five different looks that they would tell us the back stories on (designer, stylist, how the outfit came to be, inspiration, mood they were going for, how it tied into the movie/show they starred in, etc). We would love to place a spotlight on talent and their legendary work in front of and behind the camera throughout the years.
VIBE caught up with celebrity stylist and author, Ty Hunter, to discuss every Met look he styled for Queen Bey. From pulling off her more “nude” looks to working with “family” like Lorraine Schwartz and Riccardo Tisci, check out Hunter dishing on all things Beyoncé and The Met Gala in the clip above.
